The storm

We have been making narrative stories. The story is about a storm.

I was sleeping when I heard rumbling. It must’ve been thunder from outside my window. Zap!! Lighting hit my room. I ran downstairs and mum and dad were trying to yell for help but no one came. Mum said to get under the table and we waited for help to come. Mum’s phone vibrated in her pocket. She looked at the phone in horror and said, “A flood we need to get out of here. So we all ran to the car as the lighting sounded like the firing of a tank.

The water was coming like a jet. The water was rising. It picked my car off the road and then I passed out in the car. My car was flipping as if we were rolling down a hill. I woke up on the road and I got up and everything was destroyed. My house and the school and everything and everyone in its path. I was trying to find my mum and dad. I met a boy who lost his mum and dad as well. We helped each other. We finally found our mum and dad. I and the boy became friends and we started to build the town back up again. Four years later

everyone has built the town into a beautiful place again and made it how I remembered it. The school rebuilt all the houses, and five was so happy that I could maybe raise a baby here. Two years later I had one child here and I had the best life a man could have. Well, that’s my life story.

When I first started the story I was very frustrated because I did not know what to do with my work.
